Meet The Author, Andy Currie
Andy is the Co-chairman of Alantra Investment Bank and the Managing partner of Alantra’s UK investment banking division. In 1998 he founded Catalyst Corporate Finance, which over 20 years grew to become one of the leading corporate finance advisory firms to the UK mid-market. Andy led the merger of Catalyst Corporate Finance with Alantra in 2017.
Andy’s time is spent predominantly with clients, both leading and working alongside other Alantra partners in the delivery of our services. He focuses on the professional services and industrials sectors, as well as advising private equity, bank consortia and other complex shareholder structures.
Andy has advised a wide range of clients on both UK and international transactions. Examples include the sales of Maine Pointe to SGS and Shimtech to Auctus Industries and private equity/debt capital transactions for SLR, Foster + Partners, Aspen Pumps and Alcumus.
